New York, NY, January 24, 2014 – Globe Tax Services, Inc. (GlobeTax), the world’s leading
provider of tax relief, recovery and reporting services to the financial services and investment
community announced today the launch of an improved DR News RSS Feed. The updated feed
takes into account that existing subscribers are primarily DTCC participant banks and brokers
looking for current and historic income events information related to American Depositary
Receipt (“ADR”) programs. With that in mind, the new DR News RSS Feed has been
developed to only include DTCC Important Notices related to income events where tax reclaim
is possible. This eliminates thousands of items from the feed which are not subject to
withholding tax relief procedures and instructions.
At launch-time, the new feed includes events going back to January 2010 and improved search
functionality using specific data points including CUSIP, Issuer Name, Country of Issuance,
Record Date and Payment Date, among others.
Users may subscribe to the new DR News RSS Feed at https://www.globetax.com.
For optimized access, GlobeTax recommends subscribers add the RSS feed
(https://www.globetax.com/postedRSS/DR_News.xml) to Lotus Notes or Outlook, or download a stand-alone RSS Reader.
