Services GlobeTax provides two broad categories of products and services to clients: Tax Processing and Market Reference Data. Tax Processing Our tax processing services focuses on beneficial owners and financial intermediaries. Beneficial owners, who are impacted directly by withholding tax, can engage us directly to recover their over-withheld tax. Intermediaries, such as global custodians, regional custodians, brokers and prime brokers can use our services either to outsource an existing tax function or set one up as a new value added proposition for their clients. GlobeTax also acts as a market utility for certain instrument types e.g. Depositary Receipts, Eurobonds, etc. In this capacity we can be and are engaged by Issuers, Depositary Banks, Paying Agents and CSDs & ICSDs to perform a "mandatory" role in the processing of reclaims for and to the market. Market Reference Data Market Reference Data is provided by our subsidiary Globe Tax Data Services Inc. There are two products currently available: e-TaxData Online and e-TaxData Distribution. e-TaxData Online is a web-based tax research tool, while e-TaxData Distribution is an electronic data feed of statutory tax rates provided via the SWIFT Data Distribution Service. |
