e-TaxData Online is a strategic research, planning and tax information tool designed for financial services firms, including market reference data providers, custodians, brokers and asset and portfolio managers. It is useful for planning, research, relationship management, sales and corporate actions processing. Access e-TaxData Online is a frames-based subscription product accessible via a standard web browser (Internet Explorer preferred). IE security must be set to medium and cookies permitted. Subscribers will be allocated a username and password for access. Subscription Subscriptions are dependent on scale and scope of use and number of users per subscribing organization. Functionality Rates An online query generator which provides research access to GlobeTax withholding tax rate database.
One-Div An online query generator which provides a tax reclaim calculator for one dividend event.
Multi-Div Provides the same result table as One-Div but permits up to ten dividend events per beneficial owner status and residency combination. The screen also contains a downloadable spreadsheet for larger portfolios and a 5-day turnaround free analysis service of potentially recoverable taxes via email. Position Position allows a subscriber to populate a spreadsheet with position data: number of shares, security identifier(s), beneficial owner type and residency. On a five-day turnaround service, GlobeTax will calculate, free of charge, what the withholding tax position of the beneficial owner(s) would have been if they had held the portfolio over the last known pay date of the issuers of the securities provided. Data Protection e-TaxData Online does not require any personal data regarding beneficial owners of securities income. Information about subscribers is held in electronic form in the USA.
